Channels that stay human

Three ways to start—and a map for campus visits

Early design teams usually request sample kits and temperature windows. Late-stage teams send fire resistance rating language and VOC emissions limits already written into the project manual. Either path lands with an application specialist.

Address details

Visitors by appointment can review foil, cloth, and masking coupons against galvanized duct, painted steel, and gypsum boards in our Sarasota application bay.

Response expectations

Emails with drawings or board photos receive a first reply within one business day. Phone support covers distributor stock checks and rush slit requests before 15:00 ET.

Social & updates

Follow IPG on LinkedIn and YouTube for application shorts on HVAC sealing and packaging line setups. We post seasonal cold-weather tape tips each November.

When to call versus when to send a sample request

Call if a crew is already on site and a roll failed a peel check on oily galvanized metal—those conversations need live troubleshooting. Use the form when you can attach a substrate list, climate zone, and target fire resistance rating language; that package lets us return SKUs with ASTM notes the same week.

Homeowners renovating a workshop are welcome too. Tell us whether you need temporary holding tape or a cleaner masking line for cabinet painting, and we will point you to distributor-friendly carton sizes rather than industrial machine-length cores.

What to include so we can help faster

  • Substrate type and surface condition
  • Temperature range and UV exposure
  • Hold strength or packaging line speed
  • Any UL / ASTM / VOC constraints
  • Quantity, ship-to region, and timing

Most replies include a shortlist, sample recommendation, and whether a distributor already stocks the construction nearby.
